Debbie Hill is the Development Officer for Children and Families working in the Ministry and Mission Department of Ely Diocese. Before starting the role six years ago, Debbie worked as a primary school teacher for ten years.
The support and develop of Children & Families leaders is a key role for Debbie, predominantly working in churches plus engaging in work with their local primary schools. Leading on training such as ‘Imaginative Storytelling’ and ‘Creative Prayer’ is a great accolade for Debbie. She also works with the Education Department offering training on topics such as ‘Becoming a School Governor-An Introduction.’ She is responsible for the support, training and reauthorisation of Children’s Authorised Lay Ministers (Ch ALMS) and supports those undertaking specialist training as Children and Families’ Licensed Lay Ministers (C&F LLMs).
